"Long Live The King"
An anniversary of a different kind: Some younger readers might think that I Remember You began with Felicity! It was of course the first of several worldwide hits for our own FRANK IFIELD. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of I Remember You reaching the Number One spot on the British charts, www.frankifield.com has been launched. Check out details of Frank's outstanding career, photos from the archives and also some of the local artists that he is involved in promoting. Look too for the latest news that includes details of the MORNING MEMOIRS show on August 14th at Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL in Sydney that will feature Frank Ifield in conversation.
LEE KERNAGHAN launched his great new album Electric Rodeo with a cyber-flourish from the ABC Radio studios in Brisbane via Saturday Night Country. With John Nutting at the helm and guru Steve manning the Webcams and Chat Room, Lee could be heard and seen around the world and fans had a chance to offer their questions. Johnno even managed to get Lee to tell his fans about going to the post-Oscars party organised by Russell Crowe. That story can still be replayed via the SNC site. As Lee rides off to feature in The Man From Snowy River Arena Spectacular, you can find out more about that show on the Web.
TIARA, the Tamworth Independent Artist Recognition Awards recognise the immense talent and commitment of Independent artists in Australian Country Music. They now have a Web site where you can not only check out previous events, but also download the entry form for the 2003 awards.
When you arrive at the new ADAM HARVEY site you'll see that he is literally sitting on top of the world. Everything you want to know is here, including his story from the early days to the present and, because he's a proud father, lots of baby pictures.

As the JOHN WIBBERLEY BAND continue their epic fundraising tour for the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, you can follow their route on the map at their Web site. By clicking on the 'Speedo' you can also gauge (no pun intended) their progress and checking the dollars they have raised and the kilometres they have travelled.
WYNONNA: MUSIC IN HIGH PLACES - LIVE IN VENICE
MUSIC IN HIGH PLACES is an international music and travel documentary series and in this instalment the girl from Ashland, Kentucky visits Venice, Italy. The focus is on a number of truly outstanding live acoustic performances by Wynonna (with 3 musicians and 3 backup vocalists) set in picturesque locations. The main 'feature' film is a 50-minute presentation and unfortunately it suffers from being edited into a short commercial broadcast format. The dialogue distracts from the music and the scenery and Wynonna is not served well by the editing of her interview.
The good news however, is that on this DVD presentation there are over an hour of 'bonus features' plus the ability to watch all the great music without the voice-overs. This is the better option, especially for the special guest appearance of Italian singer and superstar, Zucchero. The Location Footage segment provides a far more relaxed look at this remarkable city and its residents, while the complete Artist Interview section is a far more revealing insight into the Wynonna of this moment than you would expect. The spirituality of Venice certainly moved her and Wynonna's music will do the same for you.
